We had a fantastic start to the morning at Cypress Lower today. 

It has been a busy time for Atwood pupils competing in sports competitions.

Thornton Heath Community Action Team has arranged a meeting for residents of our three wards (Bensham Manor, Thornton Heath and West Thornton) specifically to meet and hear from local councillors about : – Their roles.

Year 2 had an exciting start to their week with their London trip.

Throughout last week, Atwood celebrated all things books and reading with a variety of activities. 

To celebrate World Book Day, we hosted an exciting week of events and activities to encourage a love of reading.

Dress Up Day and Author email Friday was the final Day of the Book Week’ extravaganza at Beulah Infants and Nursery School – dress up day had arrived!

Some of the parents with children in Gold class have participated in weekly ‘Bookstart’ workshops.

What a fabulous and fun-packed week we have had at Cypress to celebrate all things bookish!

In Reception this week we were visited by a Fireman who taught us how to stay safe.

What a busy start to the term! There has been lots going on in nursery over the last couple of weeks.

Today Lilac class had the opportunity to walk around our beautiful city and take in all the sights and sounds.

Thursday was a special day at Beulah as the teachers and children were thrilled to welcome the renowned author, James Sellick!

It has been a busy week in Reception! We continued with the topic, ‘To The Rescue!’

This week we have been celebrating all things book related for World Book Day!
