What a Mystery at WHJUN!

On Tuesday 3rd June, Year 5 students at Whitehorse Manor Junior School entered the building with confusion! Tables and chairs were turned over, police cordons stopped them from entering their classrooms and an outline of a figure lay ominously on the classroom floor! Immediately, the children took on the role of super sleuths to work out what had happened, questioning their teachers, demanding to study the CCTV and closely considering the other key piece of evidence- a diary dated ‘July 23rd’ and a significant time ’14:27′. This helped us connect with “the best detective duo of all time” in the text we are now studying in English “High Rise Mystery” by Sharna Jackson. We look forward to the unveiling of more clues to crack this intriguing case!
