Extended Services and Activity Clubs

‘Extended services’ is the name used in education to describe clubs and activities that take place outside of normal school hours.  The Pegasus Academy Trust places considers supporting working parents through ‘wraparound care’ (please click for breakfast and after school club care) and the development of the whole child through extra curricular ‘activity’ clubs to be very important and has a whole team within the Trust dedicated to extended services.

Suzanne Christopher, our Extended Services Leader, organises after school clubs, holiday activites and special events.  She can be contacted, by text – 07504 810956 or by email schristopher@pegasusacademytrust.org

Schools within the Trust have a huge variety of activity clubs such as archery, fencing, team sports, tag rugby, ballet, steel pans, performing arts, martial arts, forest club, magic & balloon club and textiles and sewing, to name but a few.

The process for applying for clubs is organised by Suzanne Christopher and your child will get a letter informing you about which clubs will be offered and to which year groups.  All clubs must be booked and paid for in advance.

Signposting community links – please see information about local providers offering a variety activities out of school hours at the bottom of this page.

Booking for activities, trips and after school club care via ‘MagicBooking’

The Pegasus Academy Trust uses  ‘MagicBooking’ for all services that require payments. Go to –

Account Login

If any parent is having difficulty booking please contact Suzanne Christopher directly by text or email.

Parents/carers will need to pass on their emails to the school office so that we can generate a login for your account.

You will need to make an online payment only if you wish your child to take part in an activity club, through the “Magicbooking” service. Once payment has been received your child will get a place on an activity – if there are enough spaces available. Our advice is to book a club as soon as it becomes live, as our activity clubs are popular and spaces are limited. Clubs run for six weeks or ten sessions each term depending on public holiday and training days.

Indicative costs are about £34 for a set of six sessions and less if your child is entitled to remission as per our policy.

On the day that clubs go ‘live’ for booking you will need to already have registered and then login to book a club.

Please go on to magic booking service at the allocated time, on the day advised- if you cannot see the the options – you will need to log back in – do not refresh the page.

Cypress Primary Upper School – Mondays music tuition with Mr Spoerer

Starting September 2022  Mr Tim Spoerer will be offering music tuition for Cypress Upper children. The sessions will begin on Monday 12th September during the school day. The music tuition will not run from term to term, instead it will be an annual commitment and monthly instalments will be requested from magic booking for the tuition. If you wish to cancel at any time, payment for that month will be taken and is non-refundable and the following instalments will be cancelled. Spaces are limited and are very popular so to give everyone a fair opportunity we will be asking you to text Suzanne Christopher on 07504810956 on Friday 22nd July from 10am the name of the session, child’s full name and class. Suzanne will then set up instalments on magic booking and request the first monthly instalment to secure that place – it will not be advertised on magic booking initially, you will need to book the place by text only. If all the spaces have been booked in your chosen tuition, Suzanne will notify you by text any availability of the other music tuition still available. Suzanne will create a waiting list with the texts that she has received and will notify parents/carers if any spaces become available. Only one music tuition is available to each child so that we can offer as many opportunities as we can.

Monday 12th September

Options available   –  £175 for 35 sessions –  1st payment £10 July then 11 x payments from September of £15

Djembe Flames music tuition Y3-Y6 – 15 spaces available – children that have djembe tuition in the school day are then invited to attend an after school session from 3:15pm until 4:15pm which is included in the fee.
