PAT Sports Poetry Competition 2026
On Friday, schools across the trust participated in an interschool poetry competition.

Year 2 had a wonderful visit t the Croydon Mosque and Islamic Centre.
Our three Year 2 classes have visited Croydon Mosque and Islamic Centre this week, as part of their RE learning about different faiths and their places of worship.
The children were thrilled today that Santa took time out of his busy Schedule, particularly this close to Christmas, to come and visit our school.
Hear ye, hear yee.. When school opened on Wednesday 17th, Year 2’s classroom doors swung open to reveal a parade of silks, rags and bonnets as our children arrived as rich and poor Tudors.
Last week Year 2 enjoyed performing to their adults for the Christmas Concert.
This afternoon, Year 2 held their Christmas performance for parents and carers.

As Year 2 come towards the end of their Thematic Unit ‘The Terrible Tudors’, they celebrated their learning with Tudor Day.

Since returning from half term the corridors in Year 2 have been heard roaring with laughter, squealing with delight and gasping in horror as children have discovered Roald Dahl’s terrible twits.
