Beulah: Year 2 At the Theatre

Get ready for some serious crafting excitement in Year 2! As part of their brilliant new Design and Technology project all about puppets, our fantastic students have been busy mastering the essential art of the running stitch.
Year 2 have been so relentlessly busy this Science Week that they’re basically one lab coat away from full-blown mad scientist status.
This week marks our Trust wide ‘Science Week’. The theme for this year is ‘Curiosity’ which we have been exploring in different ways.

Over the last few weeks Year 2 have been learning how to tell the time in maths.
Today our three Year 2 classes travelled back in time and experienced what a day at the seaside might have been like during Victorian times.
Last Friday and this week, our Year 2 classes enjoyed visiting the Centre for Wildlife Gardening in East Dulwich.
On Tuesday Year 2 had the most wonderful seaside holidays in the past drama workshops.
The Year 2s finally paused their Iron Man chronicles and “living things” science labs to prove they are, in fact, the most energetic living things on campus.
Year 2 have immersed themselves in Ted Hughes’s book ‘The Iron Man’ since their return from the Easter break.
Our recent reading competition was a huge success, and it was amazing to see all the different places you chose to read!
