Year 2 have an exciting DT project this term – they are making puppets! The Thematic topic this term is seasides and during the Victorian Era, a popular form of entertainment at the seaside was the puppet show ‘Punch and Judy’. Children have found out about different types of puppets from around the world and are now learning to sew. Using this newly learned skill, they will be sewing their own hand puppets. Everyone is excited about creating their own design and making their very own puppet.
