News Year 2

Last Friday, we celebrated home reading achievements across the school, which we celebrate every half term. 

This week, Year 2 at Whitehorse have loved finishing off their DT biscuit project.

We have had an action-packed week here at Cypress Lower! Here are a few of the things we have been up to: Virtual Assembly with Mrs Sorensen: We had some surprise visitors on Monday for our virtual assembly.

In science and PSHE, we have been learning about the importance of hygiene and having a healthy diet.

Last week in Year 2, we took on the challenge of having a day at school without using a pen or pencil. 

Another week has flown by at Cypress, and once again we have packed so much in to our time at school.

At Beulah lots of children came in wearing costumes all about numbers.

In what has become a much anticipated annual event, all writing implements were put away for ‘No Pens Day’. 

Children have been learning the art of yoga, pulling some fantastic poses.
