Year 2’s latest topic in maths is measure. We have loved having lots of practical opportunities to practise our new learning. This week we have measured length using the standard units of centimetres and metres. Our highlight was creating and flying our own paper airplanes and then measuring the distance they flew. The record from Nathaniel and Aaron was a whopping 11 metres, 30 centimetres.
