News Year 2

This week the children have been learning about the story ‘ Polar Express’.

Over the past few weeks, Year Two have been learning about stars, and characters associated with winter.

After intense planning and preparation, Year 2 finally got to bake and taste their very own biscuits today. 

Friday was the annual Christmas jumper day at Beulah and there were many different jumpers to be seen. 

We had a very exciting ‘Google Meet’ Gold Award assembly today which was to celebrate children displaying all of the attributes of Positive Behaviour. 

As a result of our ongoing work with Magic Breakfast, we are pleased to say that today we will be able to send home all the children with a breakfast pack to help through the holidays.

We have had another eventful week here at Cypress Lower! Sadly, our Year 1 children have had to work from home since yesterday and we know how disappointing it is to miss some of the festive fun at the end of term.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,  Ecclesbourne proudly presents its first ever broadcast of our nativity.

We celebrate special achievements in writing across the school from our early mark making in the nursery to our accomplished writing in year 2.
