  It has been lovely to see Yellow Class enjoying their calming yoga session in the beautiful sunshine with Miss Dixon, the Yoga and Dance teacher. 

Last Friday, Year 1 visited the Horniman Museum and we had lots of fun. 

It has been a very sunny week at Cypress and the children have been loving being outdoors.

This week in reception we have been learning about Jack and the Beanstalk.

Sun’s out! What a change in the weather we have experienced this week!

As the sun finally appeared in Sanderstead, it has been a busy week at school.

What a lovely week Nursery has had doing lots of learning outside while the weather has been nice.  

Despite being a shorter week in Reception, everybody has been very busy.

The Iron Man with his head shaped like a dustbin and as big as a bedroom has been seen stomping around the classrooms at Whitehorse these past 2 weeks.

That’s right, the Iron Man has come to Thornton Heath! Ted Hugh’s Iron Man was brought to life by the crafty teachers and pupils of Beulah.

Last term in reception, we were learning about the different people who help us in our community.

During their visit to the Science Museum, Year 5 students had an unforgettable experience.

We have had a very busy week at Cypress! The children have been working hard and made good progress in their learning. 

Growing, growing, all the time… We have observed a fabulous week’s worth of growth of the peas we planted last week.

  As ever, there has been lots going on in school this week.
