A shortened week this week means a shorter newsletter. However, just because we’ve only had three days in school it doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. As part of their studies on places of worship the Year 3 children visited St John the Evangelist Church in Upper Norwood.

Welcome back to Cypress! We hope everyone had a fabulous half term and we are really proud of our children returning to school and trying so hard with their learning this week.
Half-term and Halloween! It’s been a short but action-packed week in Little Cypress!
Well done to everyone who took part in this year’s Atwood Pumpkin Competition.
Year 5 started the new term with an exciting culinary lesson, where they created a fabulous fruit salad.
In assembly this week, the children have learned about the importance of cutting our carbon.
In the last week of half term, Yellow Class had a busy week of learning lots of new things!
Thank you to all those who donated food for our Harvest Celebration and attended the year 1 and 2 assemblies.
It is hard to believe that we have already made it to half term.
This week we have been learning all about seasons and we have been focusing on the changes that happen during Autumn.
Wow, what a lovely week we have had at Brigstock. The children have been busily working on their BHM art work, in preparation for Mrs Stephenson-Tye’s display.

At Cypress this week we have been celebrating Black History through assemblies and learning in class.
