CYP UPPER – Y5 VIKING DAY
Y5 have had a superb day today! The day didn’t start off as we had planned as we have had to reschedule our workshop, but that didn’t stop the children having lots of of Viking fun!

Happy New Year 2022 to all our wonderful families! It has been fantastic welcoming back the Little Cypress children this week and we have been delighted at how quickly they have settled back in to school life after the Christmas break.
It was so lovely to see all our children back in Gold Class this week after their Christmas break.
New Risk Assessment (RA) January 2022 With the emergence of the Omicron variant we now need to make certain changes to our working practices within our schools in order to ensure all our children and staff are safe.

Merry Christmas everyone! We have had such a busy term, topped off with some amazing festivities this week including our Christmas dinner on Thursday prepared by Mark and our wonderful catering team from Harrisons.
As we draw nearer to the Christmas holiday, it’s beginning to feel very festive at Cypress Upper!
We rounded the term off in festive style today with our end of term Christmas parties!

This half term, Year 6 have been learning about suffragettes and their fight to gain the right to vote for women through the fantastic book ‘Suffragettes – The Battle for Equality’ by David Roberts.
We have had a really lovely week in Nursery, enjoying lots of Christmas activities and getting prepared for our Christmas performance, we hope you enjoyed it!
