Snowflakes, snowflakes, little snowflakes at EPS Nursery
What a week we have had! We arrived at school on Monday all wrapped up to make sure we could play outside in the snow.
For those parents who will be applying for a reception place for their child for September 2026 we have arranged a series of visits so that they can look around the schools with senior staff.
If you wish to view a school please see here for the available dates. Obviously we have to limit numbers so only parents/carers who have booked will be able to attend.

The parents and carers of the children in Little Cypress were out in force yesterday to come and watch Rainbows and Nursery perform their Christmas songs.

Recently, year 3 have been studying Aesop’s fables. We have discussed the features of a fables and what makes them different from fairy tales as well as learning about what a moral is and how the fables convey these morals.
A few weeks ago, we set all children a photo challenge to read a book in most unusual or funny place they could think of.
Parents and carers of our Year 1 and 2 classes were treated to some exceptional Christmas singing on Tuesday this week.
This week at Atwood, Reception have been engaged in lots of Christmas activities.
At Cypress Primary School, our ‘Reading Tree’ rewards celebrate children who read regularly.
Yesterday, children enjoyed playing in the snow. Snowmen were made, snowballs were thrown and fun was had by all!
