CYP Upper: Thinking is critical!
This week Ms Binks recapped our learning on critical thinking. She focused on listening to the viewpoints of others and taking time to analyse and draw conclusions on their thoughts.

In reception this week we have been learning about Chinese New year.
We have had a really positive week at CYP Lower with everyone enjoying the frosty, sunny days.
Our YR1 classes would like to say a HUGE Thank you to Mrs Jenkins, who embarked us yesterday on a journey back in time… The children were so excited to learn about the old toys and to explore how they worked.
We are delighted that our gardening club is now up and running.
This week I have seen lots of lovely examples of children’s writing.
At Ecclesbourne we would like to say a massive thank you to Lidl who have been helping us with our breakfast provision.
This half term, the children in Atwood Reception classes have been looking at the topic, ‘Watch out!
Yesterday our YR1 children were very excited to find out more about old toys.
This term in Year 1 we have been covering the thematic topic ‘Toys’.
We arrived at Nursery on Monday morning last week to find that someone had left some floury footprints on the carpet!
This week in Nursery we read about The Gingerbread Man and wanted to make one of our own.

We started the week in KS1 learning more about Building Learning Powers, exploring how we can be resourceful learners.
