This week marked an exciting start for Yellow Class as we returned from the Easter break diving into our new topic: ‘Traditional Tales’, or better known as ‘Fairy Tales’.
For those parents who will be applying for a reception place for their child for September 2026 we have arranged a series of visits so that they can look around the schools with senior staff.
If you wish to view a school please see here for the available dates. Obviously we have to limit numbers so only parents/carers who have booked will be able to attend.

Last week, our children came into school wearing their finest party clothes in order to raise money for others.
This week we looked at the book, ‘Clean Up!’. In it we saw that our oceans are not as clean as we thought they were and that the rubbish they are being filled with is harming the animals who live in them.
Following our recent ‘How to Help Your Child with Reading at Home’ workshop, please find below a recording of the session for those who could not make it in person.
A few weeks ago we had a visit planned from the Purley firefighters and we were excited in anticipation of their arrival.
Celebrating Red Nose Day for Comic Relief We had a fun and exciting day today for Red Nose Day, raising money for Comic Relief.
This week, in Reception, the children learned all about medical professionals.
This term, Reception is learning all about the different people who help us in our community.
Spring has (almost) Sprung! Finally, at least at certain times in the week, Spring has sprung!
As part of our topic ‘To the Rescue!’, we have continued looking at the book ‘Supertato’.
