The new Reception children have settled so quickly and well; we are incredibly proud of them. 

Welcome to Reception’s very first phonics adventure! We’ve had an action-packed week learning our first four sounds (s, a, t, and p) through hands-on activities across the classroom.

What a fantastic first week for Stars class! We have had so much fun meeting out new friends and teachers while exploring our new classroom.

This week has been all about celebrations. On Wednesday, we celebrated the end of a wonderful year.

What a spectacular, sunny day Yellow Class had on our exciting trip to Godstone Farm!

The children in the Gold Class had a lovely time visiting the park and enjoying outdoor learning. 

We have enjoyed a really busy couple of weeks in Little Cypress!

This week, the children have continued their Beastly Beasties topic by exploring the fascinating book Peep Inside a Beehive.

This week, the children have been enjoying the wonderful story Superworm by Julia Donaldson.

Last Tuesday Gold class had its own Sport day. Unfortunately, we had to make different timetable arrangements due to the hot weather.

Our recent trip to Crystal Palace Park was a brilliant day out for everyone.

We have had lots of activities to keep us cool this week including water sprinklers, foot spas, iced animals and lots and lots of water play.

This week in Reception, the children continued exploring our exciting topic, ‘Beastly Beasties’, with a focus on the wonderful story Aghhh, Spider!
