Cress Sandwiches We only had a short week due to the May Bank Holiday, but we have certainly packed a lot in to these four days!
This week in Reception, we have been using the story ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’ to inspire us to create our own stories.

This week marked an exciting start for Yellow Class as we returned from the Easter break diving into our new topic: ‘Traditional Tales’, or better known as ‘Fairy Tales’.
Little Ecclesbourne children spent last term finding out about Spring, by spending lots of time outside observing natural changes and enjoying lots of planting activities.
As the Easter break approaches, Yellow Class bid farewell to their exciting topic, “People Who Help Us” and their class role play “Pizza Restaurant”.
Easter Fun! What a sunny and fun-filled week we have had to round off the half-term in Little Cypress!
To finish our topic of ‘To The Rescue!’, we looked at the story of ‘Croc goes to the Dentist’.

Last week, our children came into school wearing their finest party clothes in order to raise money for others.
This week we looked at the book, ‘Clean Up!’. In it we saw that our oceans are not as clean as we thought they were and that the rubbish they are being filled with is harming the animals who live in them.
