Superb Superheroes!
What a fantastic way to end the year in Rainbows and Nursery with our annual Superhero Fashion Show! How lucky we are to have such an amazingly creative group of parents and children to conjure up such incredible Superhero names and superpowers! We had some incredibly strong Supermen and web-throwing Spidermen and girls. We had Rabbit girls, Superunicorns, Batmen/girls/boys, Elsas who froze people, plenty of baddie-catching heroes, Electroboys, a Corngirl who fed the audience corn if they were hungry, Supermouse (tiny but mightly!), Balletgirl doing amazing pirouetttes, Thor, Black Panther, Artman, Bubblegirl, Sleepboy who sleeps in his bed all night, SuperSid who adds up the Numberblocks, Elsa Heart Girl who makes hearts and can make people love each other and even Supersnowflake Girl! These are to name but a few of the fantastic creations we witnessed on the Cypress catwalk today.
A special mention to our wonderful NICU Hero who saves poorly children (Luna), SuperNeo who is Type 1 Diabetes boy and Alfie who was The Hirschsprung Warrior.
The children, aside from a little stage fright from one or two, were so confident and we were all so proud of them. They sang ‘Change and Grow’ beautifully and we may have seen a few tears from some parents! Huge thanks must go to our amazing and supportive parents and carers who helped make such wonderful outfits.
