At Beulah Infants, reading is always a top priority both in school and at home!

Mr Veale’s welcome Welcome to this week’s edition of the Atwood News.

This week we have been learning about Road Safety.  Mrs Jerman and Miss Khatun led assemblies sharing the ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’ message, which is particularly important at this time of year as the evenings become darker. 

Despite the rather inclement weather this week, we have still had a fun-packed week in Little Cypress!

Thursday morning saw a wonderful demonstration of teaching for Maths Mastery in Year 4 (4P). 

We are very excited to tell you that WHJUN have been donated over 800 books (by the Children’s Book Project) to share with the children.

Reading as the ‘golden thread’ Reading is often described as the ‘golden thread’ that must run through the entire school curriculum as reading not only unlocks a wealth of knowledge, it allows a child to access learning in all subjects and at all levels.
