Spring has definitely sprung at WHJUN. In the autumn, hundreds of children took part in our annual bulb planting drive, each planting a daffodil or crocus bulb with their class teacher.
🫶Today, our school family came together in a spirit of love, care, and solidarity to support our Jamaican friends and families who have been affected by Hurricane Melissa.

This week has been all about celebrations. On Wednesday, we celebrated the end of a wonderful year.

On Wednesday, the Atwood school councillors took a trip to City Hall for a guided tour.

What a spectacular, sunny day Yellow Class had on our exciting trip to Godstone Farm!

This week, we continued reading ‘Who sank the boat?’ The children explored different materials that would best be used to build a boat that stays afloat.
This week, the children have continued their Beastly Beasties topic by exploring the fascinating book Peep Inside a Beehive.
Despite the rising temperatures, the children have been working hard with lots of exciting learning going on.
As we head towards our final week of the Summer Term at Cypress, it has been another action-packed week with lots of trips and events taking place.
Year 6 have had a fantastic three days on their residential trip to Cobnor.
