Year 5 pupils were treated to a spectacular immersion of colours and murals at the Saatchi Gallery in London.
Rapper and author Breis- workshop in Yr5 Year 5 had the pleasure of working with our visitor rapper and author BREIS (Brilliant Rappers Educate Intelligent Students.)
Year 3 have been enjoying a number of immersive lessons learning about the Victorians in the last few weeks.
This week in nursery we have been learning about rainbow colours.
?Harvest Assembly??? Harvest Festival is a celebration of the food grown on the land.
This immersive experience was a high point to end our topic on Africa.
Our three classes had a great workshop last Monday, practising some traditional call and response dance moves with their tutors from Ghana.
Year 5 have been INCREDIBLY busy this week! At the start of the week, we set off to Fulham Palace to carry out some investigative work on the river Thames and then in the middle of the week, we were lucky enough to take part in a virtual author visit with Jim Beckett, who shared his writing tips with the children.
Our children had a fantastic day at the Horniman Museum.
Everybody has been busy this September in the Early Years getting to know all of the new children and helping them feel safe and happy at school.
We would like to say a big welcome to the new pupils and their families in Gold class.
Year 2 have had a great start to their Forest School sessions this term!
It was lovely to see Atwood come alive today with a splash of colour as we held a mufti day in aid of the AT Society.
Curriculum meetings from Nursery to Year 2 have now all taken place.
At the Lower School this week Mrs Guerry led an assembly about building resilience.
Another fantastic week has flown by in Little Cypress! In Nursery we have been exploring colour through printing with the primary colours: red, blue and yellow and making fantastic patterns with the different shapes.
This morning our school community came together to support a worthy cause and raise money for Macmillan.
A huge thank you to all those families who so generously donated prizes for our raffle, bought raffle tickets and gave cakes for our coffee morning.
A big thank you to all of our generous parents, carers and staff for baking some wonderful cakes for our MacMillan coffee Morning.
Yellow class have enjoyed their first few weeks of reception and have settled in fantastically.

As you are hopefully aware, the deadline for applying for a secondary school for your child to attend in September 2024 is fast approaching.
This week at Atwood a group of Year 5 children are being put through their paces on their bikes.
