Thornton Heath Community Action Team invites “Thornton Heathers” to participate in our Festive Door Wreath Competition!

What a busy two weeks we’ve had!  Last week saw the beginning of our Christmas festivities as we had our Early Years Christmas making day.

We had a wonderful start to the morning at Cypress Lower as our Reception children gave their first Nativity performance to a packed hall of parents and carers.

As Year 2 come towards the end of their Thematic Unit ‘The Terrible Tudors’, they celebrated their learning with Tudor Day.

There was a real reading buzz in classrooms last week as parents were invited to come into school and read with their child.

In Yellow Class, we have been using our Curiosity Cube to discover new things through our observational and oracy skills.

Year Three had a fantastic day working with Martin from Architecture Workshops to create their very own model of the Crystal Palace.

Last Wednesday, Year 1 enjoyed a brilliant visit to All Saints Church to learn about the Christmas story.

Last Wednesday, Gold class performed Christmas songs to their parents and families.

Glitter and Sparkle  Little Cypress has been transformed in to a Winter Wonderful as December arrived on Monday!

Here we are in December and Christmas has definitely taken a grip. 

This week in Gold Class we have been extending on from our colour topic and have been doing lots of experiments with colours.
