Last Friday and this week, our Year 2 classes enjoyed visiting the Centre for Wildlife Gardening in East Dulwich. As part of our science topic on living things and their habitats, children deepened their understanding of habitats commonly found in London. They particularly had fun during their hands-on workshop, exploring the woodland, the meadow and the pond habitats. We were so lucky to have some sunshine with us and eat our picnic outside. The visit to the local children’s playground was an added bonus!
