On Tuesday Year 2 had the most wonderful seaside holidays in the past drama workshops. Liz joined us in costume and brought with her lots of props, photos and knowledge to share with us. We had a wonderful time learning about how people used to entertain themselves on the beach during the Victorian Era, how people would have dressed and travelled during that time. Each of us put on a straw hat and travelled back in time to experience steam train travel, Punch and Judy shows, building sandcastles, donkey riding, eating ice cream from a penny lick and changing in a horse drawn bathing machine. We had such a great time and have learned so much history through our workshop.
