Chants of ‘Take it off, take if off!’ echoed down the corridors at Ecclesbourne Primary School as children tried to guess who the masked reader was.
To kick start World Book Week, every class watched a video of one of the teachers reading a familiar story. The children then tried to work out who was behind the mask before watching the big reveal!
We ended World Book Week the same way we started, but this time it was a live reading by a different Masked Reader in whole school assembly. The children were beyond excited when the reader was revealed!
It has been a fantastic week celebrating reading for pleasure and I would like to thank all the staff at EPS for making it so memorable.
