We have had a busy few weeks in Nursery with our new topic about water.

On Friday, we held our annual Sports Day at Cypress Lower. 

Children in Year 2 from both the main site and Brigstock came together this week to experience the magic of carnival.

This week, we have begun reading “who sank the boat?” by Pamela Allen.

This week has been packed full of excitement with numerous trips, visits and even an overnight camp!

This week, the children have been enjoying the wonderful story Superworm by Julia Donaldson.

Through the week of the 15th of June, the children of Atwood’s Year 6 celebrated the end of their time at primary school with a fabulous residential stay in the Isle of Wight. 

We have had a very busy week at Cypress with school trips, productions and Sports events taking place.

Over the last few weeks Year 2 classes have visited the Centre for Wildlife Gardening in Dulwich.

As part of our thematic unit ‘Oh I do like to be beside the seaside’, our three Year 2 classes have visited Brighton beach this month. 

Year 4 recently enjoyed an exciting and inspiring trip to the British Library as part of their work on writing their own fairy tales.

Over the last couple of weeks, Green and Indigo class have enjoyed an exciting and memorable trip to the Horniman Museum.

Last Tuesday Gold class had its own Sport day. Unfortunately, we had to make different timetable arrangements due to the hot weather.

Our recent trip to Crystal Palace Park was a brilliant day out for everyone.

On Thursday 18th June at the Whitehorse Manor Junior School Hall, 16 nervous, excited finalists took to the stage for annual Year 3 Spelling Bee at the Trust.
