ATW Reception News – Supertato, healthy eating and nurses
As part of our topic ‘To the Rescue!’, we have continued looking at the book ‘Supertato’.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. As part of our topic ‘To the Rescue!’, we have continued looking at the book ‘Supertato’.
This week saw a continuation of book week activities! At the beginning of the week we had our Scholastic Book Fair and Mrs Roberts and Mrs Latter sold an amazing £1000 worth of books!
Some of the parents with children in Gold class have participated in weekly ‘Bookstart’ workshops.
What a fabulous and fun-packed week we have had at Cypress to celebrate all things bookish!
In Reception this week we were visited by a Fireman who taught us how to stay safe.
Thursday was a special day at Beulah as the teachers and children were thrilled to welcome the renowned author, James Sellick!
It has been a busy week in Reception! We continued with the topic, ‘To The Rescue!’
This week we have been celebrating all things book related for World Book Day!
Gold class has had a wonderful Spring term hearing and learning about different traditional stories.
Red Class have had an exciting and fun-filled start to the term!
Today, Reception had a visit from the Sanderstead Safer Neighbourhoods division of the Metropolitan Police Force.
This week in Reception, we were burgled! On Monday, the children returned from lunch to find the classroom in disarray.
Ecclesbourne were delighted to host Sarah Jones, Labour MP for West Croydon and Minister of Industry.
In yellow class, it has been an exciting adventure this week with our learning as we used our writing, creativity, maths, and imagination skills in some delightful activities.
In Reception this week, we read the book, ‘Peepo’ by Janet and Allan Ahlberg.
