We have enjoyed a really busy couple of weeks in Little Cypress!

This week, we continued reading ‘Who sank the boat?’ The children explored different materials that would best be used to build a boat that stays afloat.

This week, the children have continued their Beastly Beasties topic by exploring the fascinating book Peep Inside a Beehive.

Despite the rising temperatures, the children have been working hard with lots of exciting learning going on.

As we head towards our final week of the Summer Term at Cypress, it has been another action-packed week with lots of trips and events taking place.

Year 6 have had a fantastic three days on their residential trip to Cobnor. 

Following a fantastic response to the online safety questionnaire sent out earlier this year, we are pleased to be able to offer you a recorded workshop. 

Our Year 1 adventurers had a fantastic summer term school trip to the Horniman Museum, bringing our “Africa” topic to life!

Our Year 1 classes had a fantastic time exploring the local library yesterday!

We have had a busy few weeks in Nursery with our new topic about water.

On Friday, we held our annual Sports Day at Cypress Lower. 

Children in Year 2 from both the main site and Brigstock came together this week to experience the magic of carnival.

This week, we have begun reading “who sank the boat?” by Pamela Allen.

This week has been packed full of excitement with numerous trips, visits and even an overnight camp!

This week, the children have been enjoying the wonderful story Superworm by Julia Donaldson.
