Year 6 have had a fantastic three days on their residential trip to Cobnor. The children have experienced sleeping in tents with their friends and making the most of the glorious weather.
During the trip, they had the opportunity to take part in climbing, keel boating, pioneering, high and low roped, aero ball and a range of problem solving activities. The children showed real enthusiasm and resilience. So many children overcame fears and challenges through the support of their friends.
In the evenings, they spent one evening crabbing on the beach with many of the children becoming rather attached to their new crab friends. They also had a Leavers’ Assembly singing practice led by Mrs Mbalu on the beach.
Thank you to Ms Wayman, Miss Fernandes, Miss Richardson, Miss Hassan, Mrs Mbalu, Miss Scarlett and Mr Nicol for giving up your time to give the children such a memorable experience.
Everyone is back in school today, feeling rather tired, with lots of amazing stories to share.
