WHINF – Habitat Detectives
This week Year 2 have become habitat detectives. We have found out what a habitat is and that there are different types of habitat.

This week in Nursery, we have been celebrating science week! Our focus was changes over time and we did the following experiments: Whisked egg whites – we had a discussion on how the friction turned the whites from a liquid to a solid.
Our school community came together over for food, music and fun at our Multicultural Day organised by our Ecclesbourne PTFA.
On Wednesday, the children in Year 6 headed off to to Chessington World of Adventures.
This week, it has been Science Week in school and we have all used science to explore the theme of ‘Curiosity’.
To celebrate the end of the SATs exams, last Friday, the children in Year 6 headed out to the park for a well-earned morning of fun!

This week in Reception, the children have been continuing their learning around our ‘Once Upon a Time’ topic.
Yellow Class have had such a fun, hands-on week working as real scientists for Science Week!
Wow, what a completely amazing Science Week we have had! Every single classroom turned into a busy little laboratory, and our wonderful children had the best time being real scientists.
After months of incredible dedication, focus and hard work, our wonderful Year 6 students have officially finished their SATs!
