A Wander Through Hampton Court

On 14th November, our young historians swapped the classroom for the magnificent Hampton Court Palace, Henry’s favourite of his seven homes. After weeks of learning, the children were thrilled to see their lessons come alive. They gasped at Henry III’s huge suit of armour, marvelling at its size and shine. In the Great Hall, they spotted the cheeky eavesdroppers statues peering down from the rafters. Wandering through the corridors, the children even discovered Henry’s crown, which felt like finding treasure.

The highlight came when our Hampton Court guide let them handle real Tudor artefacts, giving the children a true taste of history.

Yunus summed up the day perfectly: “It as the best day ever! Today was a real adventure.”

Though the children have now been to Hampton Court Palace, I still think they might enjoy a second or third trip.

Thank you to all the parents who came on the trip.
