On Friday, schools across the trust participated in an interschool poetry competition. The children produced fantastic poems related to sport. We had Girl Power! poems, as well as poems about cricket, tennis, hockey and Crystal Palace Football Club. There were different types of poems including limericks, haikus and poems with assonance! The bar was set very high and the competition was tough!

A huge thank you to our judges: Ms Parker, Ms Sullivan and James from the Palace for Life Foundation.
All children will enjoy a tour of the stadium, thanks to the Palace for Life Foundation and the 1st place have also won a free football day at one of the clubs. All children who participated received goody bags filled with treats, as well as participation certificates.
A big thank you to all the staff that supported with the poetry competition. Each year the entries are tougher and tougher to judge because the standards are so high!
