It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas…

It has been a Christmas bonanza at Whitehorse Manor Junior School this week.  The tree went up, as did the decorative class hoops depicting the Twelve Days of Christmas, and we presented our Christmas Production, ‘A Merry Motown Christmas’, four times, so that children from Year 3 to Year 6 got the chance to perform and to watch a performance.  Sheep skipped onto the stage; wise guys arrived from the East with difficult to spell gifts and a marvellous angel called Marvelous delivered a worthy version of the Etta James classic ‘At Last’ to welcome the baby Jesus into the world.  We finished the week with an excellent Christmas lunch whilst wearing our festive finery, from PJ tops to antlers.

We might have a couple more weeks of school left, but some of our biggest Christmas events have been completed, so we are looking forward to a less hectic journey towards the Christmas break.  Massive thanks to all those of you who supported our work and to the staff and children for their dedication and resilience.  Team work makes the dream work!
