ATW Nursery News – 1st May
We’ve had lots of fun in the sun this week. We have been reading the story ‘The Big Red Bus’ by Judy Hindley.

We’ve had so much fun in Nursery this week. A big shout out to our amazing caretakers John and Alex who made us a new gravel pit!
Welcome back! We hope you had a lovely break. The children have been telling us all about their activities during the Easter holiday.
This week, we have been learning all about the Easter celebration.
Lots of learning to recap on this week! On Monday, we introduced the story Willbee the bumblebee.
We have had a very exciting visitor this week in Nursery!

Welcome back! We hope everyone had a lovely half term. This week in nursery, we have been learning about the Lunar New Year.
Our last traditional tale of the term was ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’.
Over the last two weeks, we have been reading the traditional story of The Three Little Pigs.
We continued reading the story ‘Gingerbread Man’ this week. In our carpet sessions, we created actions for each character and parts of the story.
Happy New Year and first week back! This term, our topic is ‘Run Run as Fast as You Can’ and we will be reading different traditional tales.
This week in Nursery, we have been reading the Nativity story.
What a busy two weeks we’ve had! Last week saw the beginning of our Christmas festivities as we had our Early Years Christmas making day.
We were scientists this week! Whilst learning all about the colours in the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet), we have taken on the role of rainbow scientists!
