We have had lots of activities to keep us cool this week including water sprinklers, foot spas, iced animals and lots and lots of water play. On Wednesday we enjoyed our time in the cool shade at Forest school. The children enjoyed digging for treasure, climbing trees and swinging in the tyre swings. In literacy, we continued reading commotion in the ocean. Each day, the children acted out a new poem of different sea creatures. In expressive art and design, we have worked collaboratively making a giant paper mache octopus – which is now hanging from our ceiling! In maths, we have explored real world maths problems. We have also had many relaxing water breaks throughout the day to re regulate ourselves and temperate!
It’s been hot hot hot! The children in Nursery have shown amazing resilience in this heat- well done
