Back to school! What a fantastic start we have had to our final half term of the academic year!
Oliver’s Vegetables We have been remembering all the vegetables mentioned in the story: ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’ and we have really enjoyed printing repeating patterns with them.
Sun’s out! What a change in the weather we have experienced this week!
Growing, growing, all the time… We have observed a fabulous week’s worth of growth of the peas we planted last week.
Jack and the Beanstalk What a fabulous two weeks we have had back at school in Little Cypress!
Spring Festivals We have been learning about different Spring Festivals and traditions this week, including the Hindu Festival of Holi, Ramadan and Eid for Muslims and Easter for Christians.
We know that Spring has properly arrived when the tree in the Nursery playground comes into blossom and this week it has done just that.
Springing in to Action We have had another fabulous week in Little Cypress, with the children impressing us with their increasing levels of independence, resilience and curiosity.
Celebrating Book Week In Little Cypress, we love books! Books are a vital part of our everyday experiences and we come together as a class at least twice a day to share stories and enjoy a wide range of children’s literature, including Fairy Tales, poems, Nursery Rhymes and many, many books!
