Atwood have Fun in the Sun at the Beach
On 4th July, Year 2 had their seaside trip to Broadstairs beach.
For those parents who will be applying for a reception place for their child for September 2026 we have arranged a series of visits so that they can look around the schools with senior staff.
If you wish to view a school please see here for the available dates. Obviously we have to limit numbers so only parents/carers who have booked will be able to attend.

This week in Reception, the children have learned about worms. They now know that worms belong to the classification of animals called invertebrates as they have no backbone.
Looking forwards… The weeks are galloping on as we enter our final weeks before the holidays.
Year 3 had the fantastic opportunity to visit the London Wetlands Centre this week!
This year, all classes have been learning about ‘money.’ They have all had the opportunity to take part in learning activities from ‘RedSTART’.
This term, Gold Class have a very special ‘Share a Story’ session every Wednesday morning.
Children, staff and parents enjoyed a fantastic morning of sporting events last week during Sports Day.
Last week, the reception children said goodbye to their class butterflies!
Last week, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 had an exciting visit from author James Allen.
Ahoy there me hearties! Year 2 have had a wonderful day sailing the seven seas in their pirate ships.
Tickets are available now for the year 6 show, The Wizard of Oz (a musical adaptation by Tom Kirkham).
This week, learning looked a little different from usual as our classes worked hard to start their own businesses for Enterprise Week.
Sports Day for Years 5 and 6 took place on Monday.
It has been a lovely sunny week at Cypress and so much has been happening.
We are rapidly running out of weeks in the school year but the children are still working hard and learning lots of interesting things.
