CYP – Celebrating Teamwork
We began the week at the Lower School with an assembly from Mrs Jerman to launch ‘Walk to School Week‘.

We began the week at the Lower School with an assembly from Mrs Jerman to launch ‘Walk to School Week‘.
This week, we were thrilled to welcome Lorraine Simeon, author of Marcellus and several other wonderful books.
The half term has flashed by and we are already at the holidays.
This week in nursery we have continued with our transport topic and have been reading the story book ‘The Train Ride’ by June Crebbin.
Phonics: Our initial sound in Phonics this week has been ‘V’.
Our Pegasus camping trip is fast approaching and the children are really excited for the adventure ahead!
What a week we have had in Reception! The children have dazzled us with their creativity and superb writing skills.
Our Year 6 children have worked so hard this year and gave their all in the recent SATs assessments.
Yesterday, Year 2 became scientists and explorers on their school trip to the beautiful Morden Hall Park.
Our newly formed PTFA led their first event at Ecclesbourne today raising over £150 for the school.
Year 3 are excited to announce the first ever cross Trust Spelling Bee.
Yellow Class put on a fantastic assembly where they retold and acted out their favourite fairy-tale, A Squash and A Squeeze, with great enthusiasm and creativity.
In preparation for our Playground Proms concert coming up, Ecclesbourne had a special visit from Kaye Barker from Graffiti Classics.
Now in its seventh year, the Young Artists’ Summer Show is a free, open submission exhibition for students aged 4–18 studying in the UK.
In Gold class, we are learning about different vehicles, as this term is our “Wheels on the Bus” topic.
