CYP Upper – Terrie Chilvers visits Year 3
Year 3 pupils enjoyed an inspiring visit from children’s author Terrie Chilvers this week.

Yesterday, we celebrated Earth Day– a day that reminds us why our planet is so special.
We have enjoyed welcoming back all our children and families back this week.
At the Upper School this week, we have been focusing on showing good manners.
At the Upper School this week, we have focusing on the skill of revising.
At the Upper School, we have been learning about the importance of being methodical in our approach to learning.
At the Upper School this week, we have been learning about the power of resilience and especially the ability to use this when challenged.
At Cypress Upper, we began the week by reflecting on the goals we set for ourselves in assembly.
It is hard to believe that we have reached the end of the first term.
This afternoon, Year 2 held their Christmas performance for parents and carers.
We had a very festive start to the day at Cypress Lower as it was Year 1’s turn to put on their Christmas performance to a packed hall of parents and carers.
It has been another packed week at Cypress with trips, performances, lots of learning and Christmas lunch.
We had a wonderful start to the morning at Cypress Lower as our Reception children gave their first Nativity performance to a packed hall of parents and carers.
This week at the Lower School we have been thinking about our Pegasus Value ‘We have Good Manners’.
We have had another busy week at Cypress, with different trips and events taking place.
