CYP Lower – Little Cypress Curriculum and Information Meeting
Thank you to all of you who braved the miserable weather to attend the Little Cypress Curriculum and Information Meeting today for both Rainbows and Nursery.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. Little Cypress have had a short but eventful first week back at school!
What an incredible half term we have had in Little Cypress!
The children in Little Cypress have had a fun-packed and very busy week!
There has been a definite Autumn feel in the air this week and the children in Little Cypress have been thinking about Autumn and all the wonderful things that this ‘…season of mists and mellow fruitfulness’ brings.

We have had another busy and productive week in Little Cypress, getting to know all the wonderful children a little better.
We would like to extend a huge welcome to our youngest children in both Rainbows and Nursery.
We can’t believe that the end of the school year has crept up on us so quickly!
The temperature has been rising this week and Rainbows and Nursery have been making the most of the lovely weather by spending plenty of time outside.
In Little Cypress this week we have been enjoying Science Week and learning all about the lifecycle of the butterfly.
The children in Little Cypress have been observing how the mustard, cress and cat grass seeds that we planted a week ago have been growing.
The three reception classes had a very exciting visit from some exotic minibeasts this week.
In Little Cypress we have been learning all about how plants grow, inspired by books such as Jack and the Beanstalk, Jasper’s Beanstalk and Titch.
This week in Little Cypress we have been thinking about growing.
