The children in Little Cypress have had a fun-packed and very busy week! The Dental Nurse from King’s College Hospital came to tell us all how to look after our teeth and how to brush them properly, as well as talking about the best things to drink for healthy teeth (water and milk!).
To fit in with our themes of Harvest and Autumn, we have been listening to and learning the repeated refrains from ‘The Little Red Hen’ and talking all about how it is important to work together as a team and help one another. We became bakers and made our own bread rolls which we took home to enjoy. It was such fun kneading and rolling the dough and just like the story: we did it all by ourselves! Eat your heart out, Great British Bake Off!
Seeing the Rainbows and Nursery children flourish in their first half term in their new classes has been such a joy and we know they will continue to progress and develop in the exciting weeks ahead as we learn about Diwali and Christmas.
Have a wonderful weekend!
