Happy New Year and welcome back to all our families at Cypress.
Happy New Year and welcome back to all our families at Cypress.
Happy New Year. It has been lovely to see all the children back in school after the break and we have launched straight back in to our learning.
Today we were visited by the MP for Croydon North and Streatham and the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Steve Reed.
Welcome Back to Spring 1, 2025! How wonderful to see the children in Rainbows and Nursery back in Little Cypress, brimming with stories from the Christmas holidays and happy to see their friends and get back in to the school routines!
On Tuesday, Year 1 had lots of fun learning about old and new toys.
The topic for this half-term in Reception is ‘Watch out—there’s a monster about!’
Our YR1 classes would like to say a HUGE Thank you to Mrs Jenkins, who embarked us yesterday on a journey back in time… The children were so excited to learn about the old toys.
After a busy final week, we have made it to the end of term.
It has been a wonderful term in Gold Class. Over the past few weeks we learnt about colours.
Last week, all of the reception children performed in their Christmas Concert.
Our recently-formed PTA got off to a flying start with their very first event – the Winter Fayre.
How wonderful that our Nursery children were able to get out in to the community today to bring joy to some elderly residents at a local care home!
Our Key Stage 2 children put on a fantastic performance with a variety show featuring a range of festive songs.
Year 1 and 2 put on a fantastic musical nativity, performing Lights, Camel, Action!
Harrisons did us proud with our Christmas lunch! The children enjoyed special Christmas table settings, a lovely Christmas lunch and some Christmas music!
