All of the children had a very special visitor on Tuesday when the author Eva Wong Nava came to Beulah.
To celebrate book week and invite the children to enter the world of reading, the children and staff have decorated their classroom doors with the cover of one of their favourite books.
Yesterday, Mrs Schoeffer launched our book week with a very exciting assembly.
It was lovely to see so many parents attend the reading for pleasure workshop and ‘read with your child’ session.Â
It has been a very exciting first two weeks of the Spring term in Gold class.
To promote reading for pleasure, Whitehorse infant and junior schools have teamed up and created a ‘reading buddy’ session once a week.Â
At Beulah, we love to read and support each other to develop our love of reading!
All through the week we have been celebrating ‘all things poetry’ in preparation for National Poetry Day.Â
