CYP: Growing and Changing
We have had a wonderful first full week back at Cypress and the children are all settled and producing some good learning.
For those parents who will be applying for a reception place for their child for September 2026 we have arranged a series of visits so that they can look around the schools with senior staff.
If you wish to view a school please see here for the available dates. Obviously we have to limit numbers so only parents/carers who have booked will be able to attend.

The start of the school year at Cypress, has been full of excitement!
Happy holidays from all at Ecclesbourne! We’ve had a very successful academic year at EPS and we are very proud of each and every child for their progress, efforts and achievements.
Year 2 celebrated the end of a successful school year with a unique ‘splash party’ in the sunshine.
On Friday, we farewelled our wonderful Year 6 children with a lovely assembly in the open air.
We have had a fantastic final term in Nursery with our topic being water.
It is hard to believe we have come to the end of another academic year.
After a hectic summer term, we have reached the end of a very successful school year.
Recently we have been celebrating our fantastic Year 6 with a series of events to make their last weeks at Ecclesbourne memorable.
On Wednesday morning we enjoyed our 2024-2025 Sports Celebration Assembly. Amongst other sporting achievements we celebrated our fantastic football team, who won their league, giving out medals and presenting their league trophy.
After a year of hard work, dedication and personal growth, it was time to let loose and have some well-earned fun – and that’s exactly what we did at the Year 6 Leavers’ Disco!
