EPS take learning outdoors
On this beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, it was a pleasure to see so many of our pupils making the most of the weather to enjoy learning outdoors in the sunshine.

Year 4 have been making the most of spring weather (as and when it comes out!)
Nick Gibb MP commends Atwood for its performance in the Year 4 Multiplication Check in 2022 It came as a pleasant surprise yesterday, that the Schools Minister wrote to me commending Atwood on its outstanding performance in the the 2022 MTC, which placed us in the top 200 schools nationally.

Year 3 and 4’s RE Learning for Easter Miss Carlucci has been very busy alongside the children of Years 3 and 4.
Last week, our young gardeners worked really hard to clear the rainwater from the holes that had previously been dug and prepared the area for planting.

Today EPS enjoyed a 2-0 away win at Elmwood in windy conditions, displaying excellent teamwork skills.

World Maths Day, hosted by our online maths program Mathletics, has now ended and the results are in!
Congratulations to all the parents who completed the Ecclesbourne Family Learning (ESOL) Course run by CALAT.
Mathletics (our Key Stage 2 online maths program) are hosting their own World Maths Day this week and here at Ecclesbourne the children are limbering up for the big day!
Congratulations to Venus, Comets and Shuttles who each won the reading competition for their age group!
To celebrate this year’s World Book Day, Year 4 at EPS played a few games of their own version of Harry Potter’s favourite game, quidditch, this afternoon.
We have had a wonderful book week at Ecclesbourne, leading up to a fantastic World Book Day dress-up and character slam today.
