News Year 1

We had a very exciting ‘Google Meet’ Gold Award assembly today which was to celebrate children displaying all of the attributes of Positive Behaviour. 

As a result of our ongoing work with Magic Breakfast, we are pleased to say that today we will be able to send home all the children with a breakfast pack to help through the holidays.

After a whole half-term dedicated to space, our Year 1 children’s journey has culminated in an immersion day on the moon. 

We have had another eventful week here at Cypress Lower! Sadly, our Year 1 children have had to work from home since yesterday and we know how disappointing it is to miss some of the festive fun at the end of term.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,  Ecclesbourne proudly presents its first ever broadcast of our nativity.

We had a fantastic day when we visited the moon! First, we made ourselves a picnic in case we got hungry.

We celebrate special achievements in writing across the school from our early mark making in the nursery to our accomplished writing in year 2.

Last Friday, we celebrated home reading achievements across the school, which we celebrate every half term. 

Unexpectedly, there have been a spate of moon buggies landing onto the Year 1 zone here at EPS.
