BRIG-Dragon taming in Reception
Willow class have been learning all about Chinese New Year. As part of their learning they created their own dragon and created a dragon dance!

This week Reception have been reading the story ‘Bog Baby’ by the author Jeanne Willis.
For the past two weeks we have immersed ourselves in the story of ‘The Gruffalo’ by Julia Donaldson.
At Beulah, we have had the privilege of having Ms Smythe support our gymnastics lessons this half term.
Giles Andreae is our author for this half term. He began writing when he was at primary school.
It has been a busy week at Beulah- the children have been learning all about the meaning of Christmas!
Over this half term, the children have been learning how to stay safe!
We celebrate special achievements in writing across the school from our early mark making in the nursery to our accomplished writing in year 2.
What a fun end to the week Reception have had. We had a pyjama party!
What a fun day we have had at Cypress today! We have absolutely loved seeing the children – and the staff – in their jazziest Christmas jumpers, as well as the festive hats and glasses everyone brought in.
Over the past two weeks Reception have immersed their selves in the book ‘Granny went to market’.
All of the children enjoyed stretching, breathing and meditating in their Yoga lessons today delivered by an instructor from ’Children’s Yoga Tree’.
Christmas is fast approaching and Reception have been getting into the Christmas spirit by taking part in lots of exciting crafty activities.
Today has been a super, comfortable day for everyone at Cypress Primary, as we all came into school wearing our cosiest pyjamas and onesies in order to raise money for Children in Need.
This week at WHINF we have been celebrating friendship week. We kicked off the week by wearing odd socks to celebrate our uniqueness.
