This week reception have been learning about Remembrance Day. We had a class discussion about why we celebrate Remembrance day and what it means. The children watched a short video during the two minutes’ silence and thought about all of the soldiers who lost their lives during the war. The children wanted to create their own poppies and did so using different materials from the classrooms. The children also enjoyed helping each other paint their own poppies too.
