Marvellous Museum Day
This morning, the school was full to the brim with parents excited to see their children’s thematic work!
For those parents who will be applying for a reception place for their child for September 2026 we have arranged a series of visits so that they can look around the schools with senior staff.
If you wish to view a school please see here for the available dates. Obviously we have to limit numbers so only parents/carers who have booked will be able to attend.

We have been reading the story the ‘The Three Little Pigs’ in nursery over the last couple of weeks.
This week we were lucky enough to have a visit from David at RedStart, a charity for primary-school children which delivers financial education through progressive learning, who came to teach us all about money and how to make smart decisions to keep our money safe.
This is our second week of immersing ourselves in the story of The Gingerbread Man.
Our Year 1 classes had a fantastic day on Monday, learning all about toys from the past.
It was lovely seeing all the children back in nursery this week and hearing about all the fun they had during the Christmas break.
Harrisons did us proud with our Christmas lunch! The children enjoyed special Christmas table settings, a lovely Christmas lunch and some Christmas music!
We have had a busy couple of weeks in nursery. We had a visit from an oral health expert, the children loved meeting Dinky the dinosaur who taught them lots about how to brush their teeth and eating lots of healthy food.
The WHINF choir made us so proud this week with their wonderful performance at Tesco.
Year 2 are reaching the end of their Thematic topic ‘The Terrible Tudors’ and to celebrate our learning we held a Tudor Day yesterday.
Family Hubs are for all families with babies, children and Young people from birth to 19 (or up to 25 for young people with SEND).
Over the past few weeks, Year 2 have been looking at the work of artist Hans Holbein.
Over the last couple of weeks in nursery we have been further exploring colour and this week have been looking at experiments we can do with colour and seeing if we could guess the outcomes!
Year 2 have loved reading Roald Dahl’s The Twits. It may be an old book, but it’s definitely a gold book.
