WHINF! Run, run as fast as you can!!
It was lovely seeing all the children back in nursery this week and hearing about all the fun they had during the Christmas break.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. Harrisons did us proud with our Christmas lunch! The children enjoyed special Christmas table settings, a lovely Christmas lunch and some Christmas music!
We have had a busy couple of weeks in nursery. We had a visit from an oral health expert, the children loved meeting Dinky the dinosaur who taught them lots about how to brush their teeth and eating lots of healthy food.
The WHINF choir made us so proud this week with their wonderful performance at Tesco.
Year 2 are reaching the end of their Thematic topic ‘The Terrible Tudors’ and to celebrate our learning we held a Tudor Day yesterday.
Family Hubs are for all families with babies, children and Young people from birth to 19 (or up to 25 for young people with SEND).
Over the past few weeks, Year 2 have been looking at the work of artist Hans Holbein.
Over the last couple of weeks in nursery we have been further exploring colour and this week have been looking at experiments we can do with colour and seeing if we could guess the outcomes!
Year 2 have loved reading Roald Dahl’s The Twits. It may be an old book, but it’s definitely a gold book.

Friendship week in nursery has been a great success, the children have shown how good they can be at sharing and being kind to others.

Since coming back from half term we have been busy doing lots of learning in nursery.
We have been learning about the Italian artist, Guiseppe Arcimboldo, who created portraits using natural materials such as fruits, vegetables, leaves and foliage.
