CYP Lower: A Victorian day at the Seaside
Today our three Year 2 classes travelled back in time and experienced what a day at the seaside might have been like during Victorian times.

Even though it was a slightly shorter week due to the bank holiday, the children have been so busy.
We had the absolute best day ever in Reception at Beulah when real-life heroes came to visit us!
Our recent reading competition was a huge success, and it was amazing to see all the different places you chose to read!
This week, Ecclesbourne celebrated World Maths Day in style! The children’s costumes for the maths mufti were amazing and incredibly creative (please take a look at the pictures).
The children who remained at EPS while the others were at camp, had a really fantastic time together!
Last Thursday was Gold class last ‘Share a story’ of the term.
Last Tuesday 10th March, Gold class had a very exciting visit from ‘Pets On the Green’.
Eid Mubarak to all Cypress families celebrating! We have been learning about Eid at the Lower School this week and thank Mrs Ebrahim for her wonderful assembly on Monday.
Next Thursday the 26th March is World Maths Day and here at Pegasus we will be celebrating in style!
Today, our reception classes had an unforgettable and very exciting visit from the local police!

Gold class have had a wonderful Spring term hearing and learning about different traditional stories.
To help get everyone excited about books, we hosted our annual ‘Books, Beans and Bagels’ breakfast morning.
On Monday, Paul Lyalls visited Ecclesbourne to kick start this year’s Book Week.
