CYP Lower-Visiting the Mosque
Our three Year 2 classes have visited Croydon Mosque and Islamic Centre this week, as part of their RE learning about different faiths and their places of worship.

Last week was a busy week for Year 6! First they travelled to Croydon Fire Station to take part in Croydon’s Junior Citizesnship scheme.
Last week in Reception, the children enjoyed a special visit from Professor Bubbleworks.
On Saturday 17th, some of our Year 5 and Year 6 children enjoyed a successful cross country event at Reigate Priory Park.
At Cypress Upper, we began the week by reflecting on the goals we set for ourselves in assembly.
We continued reading the story ‘Gingerbread Man’ this week. In our carpet sessions, we created actions for each character and parts of the story.
Another very busy week has flown by at Atwood. In Nursery, this week the children have been making their own Gingerbread Men.
This week in Reception, the children have been diving into the fascinating world of dinosaurs!
The Eco Squad have been working extremely hard this year and have made a fantastic contribution to our school environment.
It was so lovely to see all the children return from the Christmas break, eager and ready to learn.
