Ms Achenbach visits Cuffley
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting our children on the Year 6 residential trip to Cuffley Activity Camp.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. Please call 020 8684 3187 and ask to speak to Cheryl Peters (school hours Monday to Thursday) or e-mail epsadmin@pegasusacademytrust.org for more information. If you would like to see a virtual tour of the Nursery premises please click here.

I always think that the best class assemblies just tell parents what you are getting up to at school, because we all know that whenever you ask a child what they did at school the first response is usually: Nothing!
As part of our World Book Day celebration week we were very pleased to open ‘The WHJUN Book Shop’.
The doors to the WHJUN Thematic Museum were thrown open today as we welcomed parents and children to our annual Museum Day.
We were treated to a very funny Viking themed assembly by 5LM Lipizzan Class today.
It’s a long day (and night) but I have to thank Mrs Ehiemua, Mrs Chang, Miss Williams and Mrs Fitz-Gerald (and parent helpers) for getting the Whitehorse Junior Choir to and from the O2 for Young Voices 2024.
It was a pleasure watching 5P Jutland Class share their learning in an assembly about The Rainforest today.
It was so lovely for pupils in 5T Percheron Class to get started on ‘Roots of Empathy’ this week.
A big thank you to the Choir and Mrs Ehiemua for leading us in carols after school this Friday afternoon.
It has been a Christmas bonanza at Whitehorse Manor Junior School this week.
Our choir had the opportunity to sing at TESCO supermarket in Thornton Heath this morning to raise money for the charity WaterAid.
On Friday, Ms Nwosu had the pleasure of taking a small group of girl athletes to a ‘Gifted and Talented’ sports event hosted by Croydon High School.
It was a lovely to hear our potential House and Vice House Captains give their election speeches last Friday.
It is with great sadness that I write to inform you that our lovely Teaching Assistant, Sharon Thomas, sadly died during the summer holidays.
It was lovely to welcome our pupils back last week in blazing sunshine and I’d like to extend a huge welcome to our new Year 3 classes, who have already been demonstrating great learning behaviours in their first week with us.
