It was a pleasure accompanying Year 6 on the annual visit to Chessington World of Adventures on Wednesday 6th July.
Today was the day when our ‘decennial’ (it means every 10 years – I Googled it!)
If your child likes fire engines, Croydon Fire Station is hosting its annual Open Day on Saturday 2nd July 2022 from 11am until 4pm.
I will be honest and say that the building of the Anglo Saxon houses in 4P was not popular with our cleaning staff (lots of mud and straw) but the learning when Mrs Pinkney set up a ‘river’ in one of the flower beds and asked pupils to set up their homestead was next level stuff.
The new playground at Grangewood Park has its official launch this Saturday, 11th June, between 10am and 12 midday.
Whitehorse Manor Junior School was inspected under section 8 of the Education Act on the 26th and 27th April 2022.
Dear Parents and Carers. Our MHST (Mental Health Support Team) would like to share that the Off the Record Youth Counselling Service will be running a Support for Parents and Carers workshop to help them understand and better support their children who may be struggling with self-harm.
The WHJUN choir very much enjoyed their visit to St Alban’s this morning, where they entertained the weekly coffee morning group with a selection of songs including ‘Marching in the Light’ and ‘You’ve got a Friend’.
Pupils in Year 4 have been enjoying building dens on the field as part of their Forest School learning.
The choir had a lovely outing for the festive season to Tesco in Thornton Heath, where they sang outside the store to the delight of passersby and shoppers alike.
We always have to balance when we start Christmas at Whitehorse Manor Junior School.
